The challenge

A 17-storey occupied residential tower in Soho required its fire doors replaced across every floor, with asbestos present in parts of the building.

Our approach

We delivered a phased fire door replacement under BM TRADA Q-Mark, managing asbestos safely and working floor by floor to keep disruption to residents to a minimum.

The outcome

Certified fire doorsets installed throughout, with a full photographic and certification record compiled for the building safety file.

We surveyed and upgraded fire doors and compartmentation across the estate to BM TRADA Q-Mark and FIRAS standards, scheduling works around public access and daily building use.

The challenge

Compartmentation in residential blocks had been compromised by unsealed service penetrations, undermining fire separation between floors and flats.

Our approach

We carried out a fire-stopping survey and sealed service penetrations, linear gaps and risers using tested, compatible systems and intumescent collars.

Restored compartmentation with a full photographic record and certification for the building safety file.

The challenge

Improve the thermal performance and EPC ratings of occupied solid-wall social housing, without creating moisture or condensation problems.

Our approach

Under the PAS 2030/2035 framework we installed BBA-certified internal wall insulation, coordinating ventilation alongside the fabric measures to manage moisture risk.

The outcome
